Reader mail: your name is on my credit report
“your company has come up on my credit report. I am not aware of who you are or why you are on my report, Please let me know what this is my name is
[name and address ...]”
I’ve been wondering for years why people write to me about my “credit reporting” and to pay their bills. The e-mail was sent to my creditcourt address.
I’ve never seen any reporting by “creditcourt” on any report. What are these people thinking?

Reader mail: collection calls for mother’s VISA
“I’m constantly getting phone calls about a Visa that my mom had over 7years ago. Isn’t there a statue of limations after 7 years??? i wasnt even on the account and they keep calling me...”
This has nothing to do with the statute of limitations. Record the next call, tell them that it’s not your account and not to call you again.
If they call you again, sue.
