Ameriquest Mortgage in the News in Tampa, FL - watch the video

A great report! I sent them an e-mail requesting permission to repost the vid, the link at their site will probably go bad.
“… An Ameriquest spokesperson says the company is committed to fair and ethical treatment of customers and will continue to take immediate and decisive action if it discovers unethical or unlawful activity. ...”
Interesting. Maybe somebody could explain how “fair and ethical treatment” turns into lies, denial and perjury?

“And we understand it, their claim is going is to be it’s just the Tampa office that did this. Or it’s just the Tampa and St. Petersburg office that did this. Perhaps it is the Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater and Boca office that did this.”
But Ameriquest also has to explain why it paid $60 million to the state of Connecticut to settle fraudulent claims and is paying up $50 million to settle claims in California, Texas, Alabama, and Alaska.
The company also has to explain why attorneys general in 25 states are investigating the company for fraud, falsifying documents, and bait and switch. All from a company that says it is a “personal mortgage specialist which will be with you every step of the way.” ...”
Ameriquest is not the only mortgage company exploiting their customers.
Unfortunately, most lenders operate just like Ameriquest.
