Equifax: blocked?

Spoke again with Tania, then with Lisa ID 30285:

She sent a message to the Department of Consumer Affairs this morning. I asked whether it wasn't the technical department as I was told over the weekend, and apparently Lisa now thinks that my report is blocked for online orders. Lisa then specifically stated that she couldn't say for sure that the the account is blocked, it's just what it looked like.

She promised me a response withing 48 hours from this morning.

15 minutes wasted.

i have a block on my credit for a past possible
fraudulent incident.  Now I cannot get my new
cell phone service.  how do i clear all the blocks?

Joel, do you have a “fraud alert?” on your file.

If yes, it is NOT supposed to hurt you. Congress is about to amend the FCRA to put a fraud alert on active military duty credit files.
