Trans Union STILL has not merged my split files

I got the snailed mailed report dated 8/5/03 today. I thought I wasn't seeing right!

2 years ago my file was split, one has only the JCP account. Only because I was making copies for the CIC Objection did I notice that on the last page of my report, the start a 2nd report, for "Christian Baker."

I thought I wasn't seeing right!

TU never fixed this. Good thing I'm suing them, must be time to get them served.

I am having the same problem with Equifax.  I was a victim of identity theft and instead of fixing my credit report they split it.  And now I am getting old collection calls for this girl who stole my identity all because Equifax has my information mixed in with hers and it is all under my social security number under two different reports.  So, instead of just getting collection calls for the accounts she actually got in my name and I am now getting ones from way before she used my identity.  And I can’t seem to get them to fix my report. I am at the point after 2 1/2 years of trying to get this fixed of thinking about suing Equifax.

If you got good documentation, you SHOULD sue!

And you can probably get an attorney to take your case on contingency.

See “Locating an attorney, publishing your case, representing yourself?” at http://forum.creditcourt.com/discus/messages/20/400.html
