Update: Steve Miller, Federated Financial v. Ed Magedson, Ripoff Report extortion suit
Since a reader posted a comment in one of the old postings regarding this suit, I had a look at Miller’s Magedson hate site at http://www.bad-business-rip-off.com/
Apparently Ed was deposed in October and Miller posted a few pages of the transcript.
Notably, he did NOT post most of the over 300 pages!
They’re harping on the fact that Ed moved Federated to the “top ripoff reports” to retaliate.
Why didn’t they depose ME to show how Ed personally retaliated against Miller?
Since apparently Ed sent me Miller’s personal data including DOB and SSN, they’d have at least one real claim against Ed for illegally obtaining the data and then distributing it with the intent to inflict damages, specifically asking me to post it.
I have had so many communications with all parties and their attorneys, I can make them all look like the scum they are. But as long as they only ask about the e-mail, I can only answer regarding the e-mail.
So that leads me to conclude that Miller or one of his drones sent the mail to frame Ed. But, why doesn’t Ed use that against them?
They ought to join forces to sue me for posting what morons they all are.

You think that you have seen the end of this discussion? Think again. There is a new fervor in the soon-to-be-released Jewish Armageddon between Ed Magiddson and Steve Miller. (Is it a hate crime if they are both Jews?)
I will tell you that the pressure is so intense that I had to get away for a few days. Steve is about to release a volley of legal actions and investigative actions ultimately targeting the demise of ripoffreport.com. Additionally, in the wake of these actions, they will be taking out anyone who appears to be allied with Ed and his site. This include YOU, “Lewis - the Student of Law, from Newhaven, Connecticut” who may actually be from Valhalla, Alabama.
In order to accomplish this, they are teaming up with others who have been affected and feel like they have been unfairly targeted by Ed. Royal Prestige and McKenzie Scott are our latest and most powerful allies. These two companies are making headway in bringing down the gripe site.
Royal Prestige is winning their case against Ed and I personally overheard that Chris MacFarland is responsible for “influencing the judge” in that case to ensure that decisions are in favor of Royal Prestige. I understand that great progress is being made along that route. Ed has to turnover much of his company records. We were able to convince the judge to sidestep the jurisdiction matter. Next is a motion to find Ed in contempt and he is done.
Chris was also able to convince McKenzie Scott to file suit against Ed at the same time. It is the strategy to time the lawsuits so that legal expenses will cause the website to collapse for lack of funding.
It was foolish of you to point out that we are turning over all the documents in court papers. We are under investigation and we are currently in jeopardy of losing our non-profit status. Your comments only “suited” to make you a target… the next site to come down.
Your comments about Ed’s deposition were not taken kindly and there will be repercussions. Take this as a friendly warning. This is not official and is partly based on scuttlebutt from overheard conversations, as well as direct knowledge, but nonetheless very reliable.

I just checked Ripoff Report, the site loads just fine for me. If you can’t even bring the “extortionist’s” site down, I don’t think you’ll ever bring ANY site down.

One only has to Google “ED Magedson” to see the hundreds of extortion complaints against him and the Ripoffreport. Most of what is in this complaint is complete fantacy by Ed Magedson in an effort to sway the Judge on how persucuted he is. This TRO is a victory for free speech as it looks like the Judge did some Research on the history of Speth and Magedson and allowed the websites to stay up. It is not like DefamationAction is the only ones who claims Ed Magedson and Speth are Extorting folks. This ruling is a victory for free speech and for all victims of the RipoffReport.

This sure is interesting. I think your other postings were duplicates, so I deleted those.
I read the restraining order and the complaint. Of course I seriously doubt that William Stanley has any assets, morons like him are usually insolvent.
I’m going to try to post the defamation suit in a separate entry, I’m sure the complaint will be helpful to others, maybe even to me some day.
Fortunately, I haven’t had any serious problems in years and hopefully it’ll stay that way.

Reads much better there. Obviously, you have to be brain dead to think that you can threaten to kill people unless they delete whatever information and not lose in court.
And as I read my original entry above and “insiders” comment, I got another badly needed laugh. I don’t think this site has been down for as much as a minute since 3/06.
