CreditForum.org forum offline due to license dispute with vBulletin Pirate Hunter

This is one of the more bizarre events of the year. 

The summary of what transpired:

I *purchased* a license for vB several years ago.  I thought that this license would never expire.  I did however have to pay $30/year in order to get support and updates.  I CLOSED http://www.creditforum.org/ last year to new questions, and a month or two ago I finally turned off registration because too many people submitted questions instead of contributions.  My vB support subscription expired in 4/04.
