California DRE complaint # 1-04-1012-005 about “Mortgage Services”

I’ll call Deputy Commissioner Kelly Anderson tomorrow to see whether I have to submit a separate complaint about each junk fax with a new phone # for investigation.

In my initial call to the DRE they did state that those faxed advertisements are definitely NOT compliant with California real estate law.

Junk faxes from "Mortgage Director" remove number 888-336-7147. Connected me to "Gill" at "Mortgage Services" I asked for his address, it was fictitious. I keep getting faxes with different faxid numbers, if you remove one, you get a fax the next day with another faxid. The 800 call in number i s800-889-4882

What state are you in?

Mortgage Services is such a generic name, often ficticious, but I also heard of a real "Mortgage Services" that got sued for junk faxes.

Did you look at Fight Back!!! and the posted faxes there?

Past 2 mos., been getting junk faxes from "Mortgage Services America's Most Progressive Lender." Remove No. varies w/ea. fax. Most recent: 877-400-6837. On 5/16 called "call for info" No., talked to "Jason" who said they are in S. California, but work w/brokers all over U.S., including in my town, but wouldn't say who. Said Mortgage Services decides to whom to refer the call. Maryland Commissioner of Financial Regulation won't tell me if Mortgage Services is allowed to operate here unless I buy a list of all the mortgage lenders in the state and call them. I don't think they're here, think they probly are in California If anyone has an accurate address for these junk faxers,and would be willing to share it, undying gratitude.

I have given up on getting any regulator to do ANYTHING about the mortgage junk faxes. The DRE in California ignored all my complaints and so did the Arizona Dept. of Financial Institutions.

It's like they all got the executive order to allow any and all advertising in order to keep the economy going with the cash from the refis.

I haven't had any time to work on junk faxes much any more, but do check junkfax.org and sign up for the junk fax litigants list if you want to sue.
