The WORST class settlement EVER was negotiated by Lewis Stephen Kahn, Kahn Gauthier Law Group
I thought I wasn’t seeing right.
Kahn Gauthier Law Group negotiated “free credit repair services.”
“On January 19. 2005, the Court held a fairness hearing to determine whether the proposed settlement was fair. There were no objections. The settlement provides for ClearCredit to give its members free credit repair services, with no purchase necessary by its members. The value of the services is $6,000,000.00. Additionally, defendant Info1 Holding Co. will provide a $220,000 fund in which it will pay ClearCredit to perform additional credit repair services for members who signed up during the time frame Info1 was providing ClearCredit with credit reports. Notice will be sent on February 24th notifying members that the Claims Period is open. It will last 6 months.”
What the *%^#*&^$@#@@!!!!!!
That just shows how incredibly STUPID attorneys are. Or maybe not stupid, just as vile as it gets? It’s a symbiotic relationship, the corrupt lawyers ensure that the companies they sue can continue to keep on screwing people so they can sue them again.
I’m so sorry for all these people who’ll have their credit destroyed “FREE of charge!”

Can you please tell me why your first ad to the right of this page is:
Repair Bad Credit
Fix Credit Score. (Fast & Legal). Same Day Service. Proven Results.
BadCredit.LexingtonLaw.
and on the left we have:
The Lexington Law dispute letters
Do YOU want to look that stupid AND lower your scores?
I am needing help getting my credit repaired so that I can buy a house again. (I lost mine due to very unfortunate circumstances, owe the mortgage company nothing, but can no longer buy a house thanks to their report on my bureau.
Researching credit repair companies I found your adverse reports about Lexington law. I appreciate it very much since money is tight and I need help not incompetence. Then I find this sight and find the top ad supporting the same company and linking unsuspecting people to them. Ouch! Please, you need to get them off of your site and give them no help if indeed they are preying on the poor and the unsuspecting.
Regarding the GOOGLE ads:
I’m hoping that everybody is as smart as you are and sees my documentation about the credit repair frauds.
I don’t determine which ads Google puts on the page, they place ads according to relevancy and the top ad is the one that pays most. I get part of the Google revenue for each click.
You may have also seen the DONATION button in the left column.
Unfortunately, it’s been a long time since anyone sent a donation and I’m tired of begging.
I used to have NO ads at any of my sites for many years, but since very little of my work is PAID, I simply had to put up the Google ads. I’m getting about $80/month, not even half the server cost, but it helps and I’m in no financial position to throw that money away.
If I got enough donations to pay for the server, I’d gladly remove the ads again.
ALL credit repair companies are SCAMS.
If there was just ONE company doing a halfway decent job, I’d just sign up with them as affiliate and collect the commissions. Many pay $30 or more for each new client referral and I’d make MUCH more money than off the Google ads.
Improving your credit is HARD WORK and takes MANY hours of reviewing FICO scores, credit reports, drafting FACTUAL disputes, reviewing the investigation results and new FICO scores.
And all too often, it takes PUBLISHED complaints with regulators to get the credit bureaus to correct.
Please see http://credit-reporting-collection-ftc-complaints.info/ for the gruesome details.
And of course there’s also http://creditfactors.com/, my subscription knowledgebase and forum and the free blog with more credit reporting details than most people ever want to know.
Credit reporting and FICO scores are much more complicated than tax preparation and there are NO official manuals. Everything I know I learned through tedious analysis of reports and FICO scores and factors since FICO scores became mandatory for most mortgages in about 1994.
Like most people who are struggling to get by, you probably shouldn’t waste any money on credit repair.
